Granparent Visitation Rights
It is unthinkable to many grandparents that they might lose the right to visit with their grandchildren. If for some reason or another you have lost the right to see your grandchildren, there is a chance that you could get visitation rights back.

The most important thing that is considered when determining grandparent’s visitation is whether or not it is in the best interest of the children. Generally, it must be proven that visits with grandparents will not be harmful to the children. While the task of proving this seems rather simple, it can be difficult to convince a jury to alter the family unit in this way.
Something else to consider as a grandparent who is raising their grandchild(ren) is formal adoption. By pursuing formal adoption, there will not be a chance for the children’s familial unit to be disrupted again, which makes for a more stable family environment for the children involved.
